RATES and MORE
Rates: Mediation time will be charged at the rate of $200.00 per hour. The minimum time offered is 2 ½ hours for $500.00, also referred to as a half-day. I also offer a full day. The minimum time for a full-day booking is 5 hours plus (if desired by the parties) a one-hour break for $1,000.00. The one-hour break is to be scheduled when the mediation commences.
If you want to continue past the allotted 2 ½ or 6-hour (5 hours/1 hr break) session, additional time is calculated in 30-minute increments of $100.00. Extending beyond the planned time slot, a mediation in session is computed in 30-minute increments. All mediations require a prepayment of $500.00 to remain on the calendar.
Extending past the scheduled time slot is contingent on my availability and agreement from both parties.
You can schedule either the morning session at 9:00 a.m. or the afternoon session at 1:30 p.m. If you prefer a different start time, I will do my best to accommodate you.
Payment: Payment is expected no less than three business days before the mediation's commencement. (i.e., the mediation is scheduled for June 20th, and the payment must be made by June 17th to be considered confirmed). If payment is not made within three business days, the booking will be removed from the calendar. All mediation fee payments shall be in the form of Zelle, Venmo, CashApp, PayPal, cashier's check, or a check drawn on the bank account of (or payment guaranteed by) a law firm. All checks will be written to Sandra Victor. I do not accept personal checks from pro-se parties. Any additional fees incurred beyond the initial timeframe are to be paid upon the conclusion of the mediation.

Preparation/Pre-Mediation Information: There are no additional fees for preparing the case. Pre-mediation submissions and telephone conferences with Counsel are always welcome. This would include a summary of the case, parties' expectations, proposed marital settlement agreements, parenting plans, and information regarding previous negotiations,

Drafting agreements once the mediation has concluded: If you are interested in me drafting an agreement after the mediation session, I am available to create the documents. The additional charge for document preparation is $100.00 per hour. The documents for the family cases include, but are not limited to, the drafting of marital settlement agreements, paternity settlement agreements, stipulations, memorandum of understanding, parenting plans, and Child Support Guidelines.

Cancellation and Rescheduling: Mediations cannot be unilaterally canceled. I must receive something in writing from both parties or their counsel no less than two business days before the scheduled date and time. If mediation needs to be rescheduled, the newly scheduled date is to take place within 60 days of the initial booking date. If these conditions are not met, the Parties have forfeited the mediation fee. I ask this because you have requested my services to be your mediator, thus preventing me from accepting any other mediation for the day and time that was reserved.

Availability: I am available Monday through Saturday, except for Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. There is a supplemental charge of $150.00 if the meditation occurs on Saturday. The minimum time scheduled is 2 1/2 hours, as explained in the Rates.

If Counsel would like the mediation to take place outside of Manatee County, please contact the office regarding dates, travel fees, and costs.
